Divinity
The third card represented the Divine and depicted a book with wings. It was sent to me by The Admiral, my spiritual advisor, who believed he was half Pope and half Buddha. His card featured this quote:
"The true work of art is but a shadow of the divine perfection."
Michelangelo 1475-1564 Italian Renaissance
The Admiral believed that ideas could travel through time. Once they are expressed, in words or paint, or music, they had the ability to transform us. He suggested that ideas have shadows and that the shadows themselves are steps to the Divine, allowing for further expressions of the original idea. So one must look to the shadow to find its meaning and there one will find ones Moxie.
