“The Queen of Hearts, which hangs before you, represents goodness,
the giver of water. It flows, and it is this fluidity that leaves a mark
on our lives. Water has a current and creates its own version of currency.
Without it, life ceases to exist. This queen teaches us that water and love
are the same, both essential to life. You must give as water gives and release
its current. A monopoly is like a dam. It prevents energy from flowing. On
this night of MoonPie opportunity, do you choose monopoly or fluidity?”
Chimayo hops off the table and dashes to the summer kitchen to find the
other roosters. He encounters them still clucking about the earlier events.
Chimayo chimes in, “El Bubble says we must all go in one by one to
receive our gift. I have just seen mine. Who’s going in next?”
“Well, what was your gift? You have to tell us all about it,” the
roosters plead.
“My gift was the Queen of Hearts given to me by a wise Indian chief.
But I have to choose between his words and those of one of Farny’s friends,
the Dutch cowboy. They both talked about wealth. I don’t know. They were
each pretty convincing. I have so much to think about.”
